COFFEE IN COMOROS

Comoros

The four small islands of the Islamic Republic of the Comoros which were under French control for many years, has small crops of not bad quality of the hand-picked dry-processed beans and has the local coffee’s consumption about 700,000 people. Robusta is mostly grown on Mayotte (which opted remain under the French territorial administration) and Moheli islands, shaded by banana and coconut trees.
