Madagascar

Welcome to the home of unique and diverse species of flora and fauna, Madagascar. A French colony until 1960, Madagascar, after 18 years of radical socialism, is now a multi-party democracy trying to re-establish its ties with Western trade and rebuild its agricultural programmes. The robusta are grown along the slopes of the long eastern coastline, while the arabica regions are on the central plateau. The coffee is excellent.
